Re: St. John Ambulance Computer-Based Training
St John Ambulance Goes High Tech with First Aid
and Babysitter Training
With the spread and impact of technology, St. John Ambulance has recognized the need to
complement instruction methods with computer-based training. The result is an alliance
with the JetForm Corporation subsidiary Why Interactive to establish Viva Interactive
Learning. Viva combines the 900 years of community service and knowledge of St. John
Ambulance with the leading edge technology solutions of Why and JeForm. Viva's role is to
develop health, safety and wellness multimedia products for St. John Ambulance.
The first two products of this business/charity relationship are:

First Aid
Based on First on the Scene - helps build safe, healthy communities through prevention of
injuries, and prevention of complications when injuries do occur.

What Every Babysitter Should Know
Makes babysitting trahdng fin' and exciting. Self-directed assignments in four virtual
homes present challenges with fun scenarios and lively animation.
JetForm has supported St. John Ambulance and Viva
Interactive Learning as a product launch sponsor. Through the generosity of JetForm, we
are able to provide a copy of the First Aid CD-ROM to every Adult, Crusader and Cadet
Division across the country. It is hoped that this product will augment the Brigade
Training System and help our patient care providers keep their skills up to date.
In addition, JetForn has sponsored a copy of the Babysitter CD-ROM for every Cadet
Division. This product will assist our young people to earn their Babysitting proficiency,
and help make them stronger community supporters.
Enjoy your first taste of St. John high tech!
