Disaster Response Plan (Revised)
This publication is a publication of the Council for Ontario and supersedes all previous Disaster Plan editions. All St. John Ambulance members are expected to be familiar with its contents, and be able to apply it in an emergency situation.
Each St. John Ambulance Unit is encouraged to develop their own disaster plan, recognizing the differences and unique situations of the various divisions across the province. This document is meant to be generic in nature, providing the minimum expectations of St. John Ambulance Units in Ontario. Division, and Corps/District plans where the latter exist, should provide an increased level of detail as appropriate to their community. It is essential, however, that such local plans not be in conflict with this master document.
