I didn't see this posted on the board yet, so I'll extend a BIG Invitation to all SJA'ers, family and friends.
The 2006 Toronto District Inspection this year is going to be an exciting one. To celebrate St. John week, we are going to parade down Yonge Street, and then have an Inspection at HMCS York.
Included in our parade are: TPS motocycle unit, Police Mounted Unit, Toronto Fire Pipe and Drums, SJA Colour party, Patron of SJA (Major General Rohmer), all three chiefs (Police, EMS, Fire), Naval Cadets, TTC Ceremonial Unit, Toronto Campus Response Team, Therapy Dog units, SJA mobiles, and of course, Toronto Adult and Youth contingents !!
June 4th, 2006
11am: Parade starts from Police HQ (Yonge St and Grenville, just North of College St)
South on Yonge Street
Turn right on Queen St.
Turn right (North) on University Avenue
Then we'll have a March Pass with reviewing stand right at 361 Universtiy Ave.
Then we all head back to HMCS York.
1:30pm: Entire Toronto Brigade assembles at HMCS York
Inspection, Awards and speeches follow.
So, you can see its going to be an awesome sight! We hope everyone can come cheer us on.
And if you enjoy taking photos, please come out and help us take some photos!! We can never have too many photos (esp. digital).
