Memoranda from 405 Scarborough Cadet Division

Congratulations Scarborough Cadets On Saturday November 25th, 2000, members of 405 Scarborough Cadet Division planned and executed a Public Relations Display at one of their local malls.  Ongoing live CPR demonstrations attracted numerous on lookers.  The day gave them a chance to encourage folks to take a St. John course.  Therapy Dogs from a local division assisted 405 Cadets and certainly produced additional eye-catching attention! A  Blood Pressure clinic provided an opportunity to educate their public on the hidden risk factors.  Numerous brochures encouraging the public to take St. John First Aid Courses were also provided.  Brigade information about the efforts of our volunteers and what they do for their community were given out.  Casualty Simulation also attracted a crowd as they learned about what injuries look like and why.  Thirty members participated in this full day event.  Congratulations goes to Ms. S. Yung, one of the very resourceful Crusaders of 405 Scarborough to making all the arrangements!
